Sindh Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, today extended his heartfelt congratulation to the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
In his message, the minister stated that President Zardari had played a significant role in strengthening democratic values, upholding the Constitution, promoting federal harmony, and ensuring political stability in Pakistan through his long political struggle, statesmanship, and policy of reconciliation.
He said that the President had consistently contributed to the promotion of democracy, national unity, interfaith harmony, and the universal teachings of peace, love, brotherhood, tolerance, and coexistence preached by the revered Sufi saints. These efforts, he added, had strengthened interfaith harmony, national cohesion, and peaceful coexistence across the country.
further said that Asif Ali Zardari’s broad vision, people centric approach, and democratic leadership have provided a new direction for the development of Sindh and Pakistan, strengthened the federation, and advanced the cause of public service.
He remarked that the Asif Ali Zardari had demonstrated patience, resilience, political wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to constitutional supremacy during every challenging period, always placing national interests above all else.
The minister said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s positive, reconciliatory, and farsighted politics had made a remarkable contribution to the consolidation of democracy, strengthening of national institutions, promotion of political harmony, and reinforcement of constitutional traditions. He concluded by expressing his sincere prayers for President Asif Ali Zardari’s good health, long life, and continued success in rendering valuable services to the nation.
