A clash occurred today between law enforcement officers and armed robbers near the riverbank at Sindhi Hotel in Liaquatabad. After an exchange of fire, two robbers were arrested, both injured and currently receiving medical treatment. They have been identified as Zubair son of Bashir and Imran son of Zubair Hussain.
The police successfully recovered firearms, two stolen mobile phones, and a motorcycle that was in the possession of the arrestees. Liaquatabad Police Station is leading the ongoing investigation of this incident.
In a separate but equally dangerous encounter today, Madadgar 15 officers faced a perilous situation in Rizvia Society. On this occasion, two officers, Constable Sohail and Constable Imtiaz, were injured by robbers’ gunfire.
Authorities managed to arrest one assailant in injured condition; however, his accomplice escaped arrest. Rizvia Society Police Station is leading efforts to capture the fugitive and gather more information about the incident.
