The flood crisis in River Ravi is intensifying, with water flow reaching a dangerous level of 64,000 cusecs in nearby areas.
In view of this increasing threat, four flood monitoring camps have been strategically established around the river today. Rescue services, health departments, livestock agencies, and revenue office teams are performing their respective duties effectively in these camps.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ikram Malik has instructed all relevant agencies to remain vigilant. He has also provided key instructions for effective monitoring to handle any emergency situation.
Despite the situation being under control, emphasis is being placed on preparedness. Deputy Commissioner Malik has urged all organizations, including rescue operations, irrigation administration, and livestock caretakers, to promote seamless cooperation to avoid any unforeseen developments.
