A laborer troubled by inflation committed suicide in the outskirts of Tando Allahyar

A young worker from Harji Kohli village ended his life today. 25-year-old Keval Kohli committed suicide by hanging himself inside his residence, under the pressure of economic difficulties.

Local authorities have confirmed that after completing legal proceedings, the deceased’s body was handed over to his family for last rites. This tragic incident is part of a disturbing trend, as the number of individuals experiencing similar circumstances due to financial instability is increasing.

The rise in such incidents has drawn attention to the broader issue of inflation, which is continuously worsening. In rural areas, where economic opportunities are often scarce, these economic challenges have to be borne, leaving many like Keval with few options.

This incident not only highlights the personal impacts of economic distress but also raises urgent questions about the measures taken to address the roots of this crisis. Local leaders and policymakers are urged to take immediate steps to prevent further tragedies in vulnerable communities.
