Acting President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, was presented with the annual audit report for the fiscal year 2025-26 today. This report was presented by Muhammad Saeedullah Khan Niazi, Director General of Audit Azad Jammu and Kashmir, under Article 50A(6) of the Interim Constitution of 1974 at the Presidential Secretariat.
During this important meeting, Director General Niazi presented a review of the Audit Department’s performance during the last fiscal year. Acting President Akbar emphasized the need for a transparent and effective audit system and instructed Niazi to utilize all available resources for this purpose. He assured his full support in improving the audit process.
The discussion also covered other areas of mutual interest, highlighting the commitment to maintaining accountability and transparency in the region.
