Authorities in Okara seized 14,000 wheat sacks from a warehouse. Assistant Commissioner Chaudhry Rab Nawaz, accompanied by Sub-Divisional Enforcement Officer Wasim Javed, conducted the raid.
The action, directed by Deputy Commissioner Ahmad Usman Javed, was taken due to the lack of documentation for the wheat stocks. The seized wheat was later handed over to the food department.
Assistant Commissioner Nawaz warned warehouse owners to complete and register the documentation for their wheat stocks to avoid future seizures. He emphasized that the authorities will not succumb to any pressure and will continue impartial actions against warehouse owners.
