Right to Public Services Commission Abbottabad’s District Monitoring Officer Azizullah Khan has announced the ongoing measures for the resolution of public complaints and provision of services. The commission provides free facilities to the public in more than 80 sectors of 14 departments. Khan emphasized that this institution is actively working to solve the problems faced by ordinary citizens.
During an informal chat with journalists at the Abbottabad Press Club today, Khan elaborated on the services provided by the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These services are provided in various departments such as the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Revenue Department, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Excise and Taxation Department, Food Department, Forest Department, Health Department, Department of Forensic Medicine, Industry and Commerce Department, Labor Department, Local Government and Rural Development, Public Health Engineering, Police Department, Transport Department, and Zakat Department, which are present in 35 districts.
Khan encouraged citizens to use these free services and assured that in case of any difficulties or unnecessary delays by the officials of any department, they would be provided with legal assistance. He stressed the importance of public participation so that individuals can obtain services from provincial institutions with confidence and efficiency. Additionally, Khan mentioned that residents of remote areas can file complaints online so that their issues can be resolved promptly.
