Any challenge to Pakistan’s sovereignty will be met with a ‘full and befitting response’: Functional Muslim League

Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Sindh’s Secretary General Sardar Abdul Rahim today declared that any challenge to Pakistan’s sovereignty will be met with a “full and befitting response,” and termed the creation of tension by Afghanistan an “unwise act”.

In a statement, the PML-F leader stressed that Pakistan is a sovereign and dignified state, fully capable of protecting its security and borders. He emphasized that any adversary has miscalculated its ability to pressure the country.

Sardar Rahim said that the Pakistani nation is imbued with the spirit of bravery and patriotism and has full confidence in its institutions. He said that citizens have always demonstrated unity and solidarity during every difficult time.

“Pakistan is a peace-loving country, but the desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness,” he said, adding that any attempt to impose aggression would be met with full force. He expressed the determination that the people are ready to make any sacrifice for the defense of their homeland.

He urged prioritizing the national interest, appealing to all to rise above internal differences and adopt a unified stance for the country’s security and stability.

Sardar Rahim also assured that the opposition parties would refrain from any kind of politics on the issue of national security and would support every positive step of the government for the country’s defense.

He concluded by saying that the Pakistani nation is united, dignified, and will not bow down to any external pressure or hostility.
