The inspection included key areas such as Sheikh Farid Chowk, Babu Shah, and Machharoo, confirming that all drainage systems are fully operational. This proactive measure was taken to assess the efficiency of the city’s drainage infrastructure and to mitigate potential issues due to monsoon rains.
During the visit, no incidents of water accumulation were observed in the city’s low-lying areas, indicating the performance of the drainage network. The Assistant Commissioner emphasized the importance of maintaining operational readiness during the monsoon season to ensure no disruption in the daily lives of citizens.
