LARKANA: People’s Party rulers have destroyed the entire Sindh and the people of the province are dying because of their massive corruption and nepotism.
This was stated by leaders of Awami Tahreek and residents of Murad Wahan locality who jointly took out a large rally from their area which culminated at Jinnah Bagh Friday after marching through various roads demanding uplift works and provision of fundamental facilities in their locality.
The protesters include their central secretary lawyers Sajid Hussain Mahesar and Zulfiqar Mirani, Haji Ali Hassan Wako, Abdul Rahman Chandio, Abdul Karim Bhutto, Shahnawaz Shaikh and others. They said that the residents of Murad Wahan muhalla are very worried because of the lack of basic development works as there is no proper sewerage system in the area, roads and sewage nullahs have not been built for years which are in shabby condition and the annual budget allocated for development works has been wasted, they alleged, which need to be probed.
The leaders and the citizens jointly demanded that if the sanitation system is not improved immediately by starting the development work in Murad Wahan locality, then the protest movement will be started and the scope of the protest will also be expanded for which Sindh government will only be responsible.
