BNP leader concerned over deteriorating law and order situation

HARNAI:Abdul Wahid Baloch, General Secretary, Balochistan National Party (BNP), Harnai, while expressing concern over the deteriorating law and order situation and rampant use of drugs in district Harnai of Balochistan, has called on authorities to take steps; otherwise BNP would be compelled to resort to protest against the district administration to save youth of Baloch and Pushtoons of the district Harnai.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that law and order situation in Harnai city had been worsening as theft and robbery had become commonplace, adding that district administration and particularly authorities of Police Station Sadr, Harnai had miserably failed to bring perpetrators of the crimes to justice.

He said that rule of drug peddlers reigned in Harnai, luring Baloch and Pushtoon Youth to Hashish, Cocaine, Heroin and other drugs. He said that if district administration did not take steps against drug peddlers, situation of Harnai would further worsen.

He called on authorities to take steps for maintaining law and order situation in Harnai besides rooting out the menace of drugs by taking stern action against drug peddler otherwise Balochistan National Party would be compelled to resort to protest against the district administration and police to save the youth of Baloch and Pushtoon nations of Harnai from addiction.
