A passenger bus, owned by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram, MNA, and his father Sheikh Akram, MPA, was involved in a fatal traffic accident on Bhakkar Road, resulting in the on-the-spot death of two people.
The collision between the bus and the motorcycle occurred near the Ali Abad area.
The deceased were identified as 35-year-old Sughra Bibi, wife of Mohsin Khan, and her 18-year-old son, Ahsan Ali. Both victims were riding the motorcycle and died at the scene.
Rescue 1122 ambulances and aid teams arrived at the scene immediately after the accident.
