The 11th Annual Parents Day ceremony was held at Cadet College Pano Aqil with great enthusiasm on Friday.
The event was also attended by chief guest Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sukkur DC Dr MB Raja Dharejo, Principal Saadatullah, and Vice Principal Shafqat Shah. A wide range of activities were held at the ceremony honoring the academic and extracurricular achievements of the cadets.
The event began with a welcome address by Principal Saadatullah, who also presented the institution’s annual performance report. Following this, Nasir Hussain Shah, along with the Principal, inspected a spectacular parade. Cadets showcased their discipline and unity in a highly impressive display. This was followed by a gymnastics performance, demonstrating the cadets’ dedication to physical fitness.
The minister presented cash prizes and shields to cadets excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. Latif House emerged as the Champion House for 2024-25.
The Best Cadet of the Year award was presented to Cadet Miraj Ahmed. Individual accolades were awarded to Cadet Muhammad Arsalan (Class 8), Cadet Ali Farhad (Matric), Cadet Mudassir Haider (First-Year Pre-Medical), Cadet Abdul Razzaq (First-Year Pre-Engineering), and Cadet Murtaza.
Nasir Shah delivered an inspiring address, highlighting Pakistan’s growing global recognition, citing recent international events like the SCO summit. The minister reiterated the importance of the Parents Day ceremony as a reflection of the hard work and dedication of both the cadets and their families. The minister announced the solarization of Cadet College Pano Aqil.
