QUETTA: All Anjuman Tajiran Balochistan, Quetta, while demanding the authorities to cancel dates floated for conducting test and interviews in different provincial departments, has said that the recent rains and floods affected millions of people from Naseerabad to Gwadar, wiping out roads and railways services.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, it said that it was not possible for the candidates to appear for test and interview announced by Fisheries Department, Irrigation Department, Health Department, Population Welfare Department, Forest Department and Education Department as major parts of the province have been inundated by flood water.

It added that thousands of people were shelterless, awaiting tents, ration and healthcare facilities, but administrative secretaries of some departments in great haste floated advertisements for filling vacant positions in their respective departments.

All Anjuman Tajiran Balochistan called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili to cancel dates floated for conducting test and interviews in different provincial departments and re-schedule dates for test and interviews after rehabilitation of flood affectees of the province.
