Ziarat: Habib Nasar, Deputy Commissioner, Ziarat, while urging the youth to take an active part in sports and other extra curriculum activities besides pursuing their education, has said that the government had attached priority to promote sports.
These views were expressed by him while presiding over a meeting here on Saturday in connection with Sibi Division Youth Festival. Nasar said they all will have to play our due role to make Sibi Division Youth Festival successful, which will be held in Ziarat city of Balochistan province from June 9 to June 11, 2022.
The festival is being held under the aegis of Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan in compliance with the directives of Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Abdul Khaliq Hazara and Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Muhammad Ishaq Jamali a success.
Several decisions in the meeting were made regarding arrangements of youth seminar, rally to be taken out for the preservation of juniper forests, flower exhibition, Naat/Qirat competition, and short stories competition, setting up cultural stalls, science exhibition, musical night and fire work.
