As a significant initiative to improve access to social welfare programs, Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), inaugurated a mobile registration van during her visit to BISP offices in Mansehra.
This project aims to bring registration facilities to the doorstep of individuals living in remote and marginalized areas, addressing the challenges faced due to their distance from permanent offices. This mobile unit is expected to facilitate the prompt registration of a larger number of eligible families, thereby expanding the reach of BISP services.
Accompanying Senator Khalid were MPA Mehar Sultana Advocate and other prominent female leaders, highlighting the joint efforts to empower communities through improved service access.
The mobile registration van represents a strategic effort that removes logistical barriers and ensures that deserving families receive timely assistance without the need for long journeys, which often pose an obstacle for those living in remote areas.
This development reflects BISP’s commitment to inclusivity and its ongoing efforts to strengthen social protection for Pakistan’s most vulnerable population.
