Several students were injured in a clash between two student organizations in Punjab University Lahore on Wednesday.
According to a report, students of Geology Department and the School of Economics in Punjab University’s New Campus attacked each other with sticks and stones. The students of an organization entered the class and tortured a student that provoked the rival group existing in the daprtment.
Resultantly, both the groups hit each other with sticks and pelted stones that injured many students in the colision.
It is worth mentioning that every year, Punjab University witnessed many violent clashes between student organizations. Last year on March 1, Lahore police detained more than 45 students following a clash between two students’ groups at Punjab University.
