Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to further strengthen and activate the “Ask PERA” portal to ensure the prompt redressal of public complaints.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore to review the performance of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority, she directed the Director General of PERA to enhance direct engagement with the public, according to a report by MOIB today.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said every action taken by PERA should be people-friendly, adding that corruption and abuse of power will not be tolerated under any circumstances. She directed that all actions be carried out strictly in accordance with PERA rules.
