A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan was held in Nok Kundi today, in which it was decided that a Community Health Center and Mobile Health Unit will be established in Nok Kundi, and a Medical Emergency Response Center will also be set up on N-40. The meeting’s purpose was to address developmental issues, particularly promoting educational and health facilities in collaboration with Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC) and the provincial government. A comprehensive review of the Nok Kundi development project was conducted, emphasizing the provision of clean drinking water and economic development.
RDMC’s health planning includes the introduction of Community Health Centers and Mobile Health Units in Nok Kundi and Chagai district. Plans for a Medical Emergency Response Center on N-40 were also considered, aimed at improving healthcare access and reducing the mortality rate. Furthermore, 489 students have graduated from the RDMC Skill Development Center, of whom 101 have secured employment, contributing to the sustainable economic development of the region.
