A man was killed in district Washuk area while an unidentified body of a person was found in Aab-e-Gum area of Bolan in district Kech of Balochistan province on Monday.
According to rescue sources, unidentified armed men invaded the home of Councillor Ayub Malazai in district Washuk, fatally shooting him. The assailants also inflicted harm on women, looted household possessions, and took the councillor’s licensed firearm before fleeing the scene.
In a separate incident in the Aab-e-Gum area of Bolan, the body of an unidentified man was found near Dua Hotel. The deceased was transported to Civil Hospital Mach for necessary legal procedures and identification, with levies authorities launching an investigation.
This violence follows a blockade the previous day on Quetta-Karachi highway by unidentified armed men at Pir-Ghaib and Aab-e-Gum areas. The blockade stranded numerous vehicles, including that of Mir Liaquat Ali Lehri, Parliamentary Secretary for Services and General Administration, Balochistan.
