Pakistan”s leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed is rapidly ascending the ICC Men”s T20I Bowling Rankings, surging to the fourth position after a remarkable performance in the Asia Cup 2025. Abrar”s recent exploits in the United Arab Emirates have seen him climb 23 places in two weeks, bringing him within striking distance of the top spot. His impressive spell of 2/13 against the UAE and an economical 1/8 against Sri Lanka propelled Pakistan”s campaign, while a slightly less effective performance against India (1/42) did little to halt his upward trajectory. Challenging Abrar for the number one position is Varun Chakaravarthy, who solidified his standing with a strong showing despite being wicketless against Pakistan.

Bangladesh”s Mustafizur Rahman has returned to the top 10 bowlers after taking six wickets in his last two matches. Pakistan”s Haris Rauf and India”s Hardik Pandya also improved their bowling rankings.

In the batting rankings, India”s Abhishek Sharma maintained his top position with impressive knocks against Oman and Pakistan.
