Customs seizes foreign goods worth Rs50m

KHUZDAR: Collectorate of Customs Balochistan claimed to have seized foreign goods worth Rs50 million in two different operations conducted at Kharkhera and Winder check posts in Khuzdar area of Balochistan province on Tuesday, said a statement issued by the spokesman for Collectorate of Customs Balochistan.

It said that staff of Customs recovered foreign, including edible items, chocolate, biscuits, cake, toffees, shampoo, face cream, from a Divo passenger coach in an operation conducted in at Kharkhera check post of district Khuzdar. Similarly, foreign cigarettes and Indian gotta were recovered from a passenger bus during checking at Customs Check Post, Winder. Seized goods valued at Rs. 50 million.
