Dar Chairs Key Meeting to Forge Stronger Economic Partnership with Iran

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, today affirmed Pakistan’s resolve to substantially broaden its bilateral engagement with neighboring Iran, with a strategic focus on priority sectors.

The commitment was articulated during a high-level inter-ministerial session in the capital, which was convened to review the current state of bilateral collaboration and explore new opportunities for enhancing economic and trade partnerships.

The deliberations included a comprehensive assessment of existing cooperation across diverse fields, aiming to chart a course for future joint ventures.

The significance of the gathering was underscored by the attendance of the Minister for Petroleum, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, the Secretary of Petroleum, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant government departments.
