QUETTA:Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Shaihak Baloch, accompanied by leader of opposition in Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Malik Sikandar Khan Advocate, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Quetta, Khalil Murad and Assistant Commissioner, Saddar, Naqeebullah Kakar, on Saturday paid a visit to Sub-Division Saddar area to inspect the cleanliness of various areas and roads of Nawa Killi.

Deputy Commissioner inaugurated special cleanliness campaign in Nawakilli and deployed additional number of machinery, Sweepers and Sanitary workers to dispose of the waste and garbage at the earliest. Besides, Deputy Commissioner visited Girls Middle and Boys High Schools killi Kotwal, Nawa Killi to check the facilities being provided at the school.

Deputy commissioner also visited Basic Health Unit (BHU), Killi Kabir, Tajikabad Nawa Killi and inspected the different sections of the mentioned BHU. Taking notice of the shortage of doctors and staff in BHU, he directed District Health Officer, Quetta to prepare Schedule for New Expenditures (SNE) for creation of new posts so that the same could be placed before the competent forum for creation of new vacancies for Basic Health Unit, Killi Kabeer Tajik Abad, Nawa Killi. Directions to the concerned authorities were also issued for removal of encroachment and ensuring smooth flow of traffic.
