QUETTA:Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shahaik Baloch said Wednesday that widening of Sariab Road, which was an important project, would not only address the problems of the people in the area, but the completion of the project would also solve the traffic issues.
These views were expressed by him during a visit to Saraib Road area of the provincial capital to inspect the ongoing development work of Sariab Road widening project. He said that reservations of the Sariab Road’s shopkeepers would soon be addressed, adding that all measures were being adopted for timely completion of the development work of Sariab Road.
He added that the government had attached priority to provide facilities to the people by constructing better roads. Directing the concerned authorities to expedite completing the remaining work of Sariab Road project, he said that no negligence would be tolerated regarding completion of development projects in accordance with the time period mentioned in the Project Cycles (PC-Is) of the projects.
