A decision has been made to allot a suitable and permanent place to pushcart vendors to tackle the growing encroachments in Surab Bazaar. In this regard, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Sikandarabad Surab, Sahibzada Najibullah, and Assistant Commissioner Surab, Akbar Ali, an important meeting was held at Surab Town Hall on Saturday.

Municipal Committee Surab Chairman Munir Azad Roudini, Chief Officer Abdul Khaliq Shahwani, Vice Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Yasin Samalani, and Tehsildar Mahmud Ahmed Kurd, agreed to allocate an organized and permanent place for the pushcart vendors. This decision was made with the unanimous consensus of all participants, including representatives of street vendors, to improve traffic flow and provide convenience for the local public.

The meeting concluded on a promising note, with the expectation that this strategy would significantly contribute to the city’s order. Councilors, Qanungo, cart owners, and other committee members expressed hope that this initiative would bring a positive change to Surab’s urban landscape.
