Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Khoso warned on Wednesday that any negligence or delay in the completion of critical water supply projects for Rakhni city will not be tolerated, stressing that water supply is a fundamental public necessity.

He issued this directive during a detailed inspection of ongoing water supply schemes and tube well initiatives under the BSDI program.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the water distribution system, the structural condition of the pipelines, and the cleanliness of water tanks to assess the overall quality of service. He was accompanied by XEN Public Health Engineering Malik Naseem and Assistant Commissioner Barkhan Khadim on this occasion.

Khoso issued special instructions to the concerned contractor and XEN PHE to promptly finalize the ongoing work on the tube well to ensure a clean and uninterrupted water supply to the citizens.

He added that the government is taking serious steps to resolve public issues and provide essential facilities, and it is imperative that all development projects are completed with high quality and on time.
