A meeting of the Dispute Resolution Committee was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Okara Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed and DPO Rashid Hidayat in which, in a decisive move to protect the assets of citizens, the district administration has announced that illegal occupation of properties will not be tolerated, and orders for immediate action have been issued during the meeting of the dispute resolution committee.

The meeting was jointly chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed and District Police Officer Rashid Hidayat, with the aim of providing immediate relief to the public by resolving urban and rural disputes.

During the proceedings, officials conducted a detailed review of several applications filed under the Punjab Protection of Ownership of Immovable Property Act. The committee heard complaints from citizens regarding land grabbing, document forgery, and other ownership issues and issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant departments to provide solutions.

Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed stated that an effective law has been enacted to protect the property ownership of citizens. He affirmed that the district administration is utilizing all available resources to safeguard the legal rights of individuals.

The Deputy Commissioner added that continuous monitoring is being carried out at the district level to ensure the earliest possible redressal of complaints, emphasizing that providing timely justice to applicants is the administration’s top priority.
