In the village of Muhammad Bakhsh Khokhar, within the jurisdiction of Kot Ghulam Muhammad police station, a 25-year-old Pesh Imam and father of three young children committed suicide,
Ibrahim Khokhar’s body was found hanging from a tree in the village’s mango orchard on Monday. Authorities at the Kot Ghulam Muhammad police station were immediately informed of the incident.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials secured the area and moved the body to Kot Ghulam Muhammad Taluka Hospital for proceedings.
According to relatives, Khokhar, who was also a Hafiz-e-Quran, served as a Pesh Imam in a mosque in a village of the Kolhi community near Digri and had come home on leave. Reportedly, he had left home in anger after an argument the day before his body was found.
The search for the young man continued throughout the day and night. His body was finally discovered the next morning, after which the police were informed.
After the necessary medico-legal procedures were completed, the authorities handed over the body to the grieving family.
