Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, canceled his scheduled meetings in Islamabad and visited Narowal to personally assess the flood devastation and oversee relief efforts.
“Our citizens are going through a difficult time, but they are not alone. We will overcome this challenge together,” said Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
He appealed to the citizens to remain cautious, move to safe places, and prioritize their safety. He assured them that his team is taking all possible measures to assist the affected families, minimize the loss of life and property, and address the emergency.
