Federal Minister Slams Provincial Administration Over ’13-Year Failure’ in Key Sectors

Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions, Engineer Amir Muqam, on Sunday strongly criticised the provincial government, accusing it of a 13-year failure to deliver meaningful progress in crucial areas including healthcare, education, infrastructure, and employment.

The minister stated that provincial resources were not being utilised for public welfare, highlighting that hospitals were lacking basic facilities and universities were contending with serious challenges.

His remarks came during the inauguration of a NADRA Registration Centre in Totakan, Batkhela, which he said symbolised the federal government”s focus on public service delivery.

Earlier in Shangla, the federal minister administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet of the Muslim Students Federation (MSF).

Addressing the gathering, he described the MSF as an important ideological platform that guides young people toward positive politics, education, and national service.

Terming youth a valuable asset to the nation, Mr Muqam affirmed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz would always continue to provide opportunities for students to move forward.

He also emphasised that students should prioritise character-building, discipline, and national unity along with their educational pursuits.
