In a heart-wrenching incident of firing resulting from an ongoing enmity in Naushahro Feroze, three people lost their lives. The attack took place at Lundo Mori Stop within the limits of Kandiaro Police Station.
This tragic incident occurred when armed assailants targeted members of the Dahri community. The victims were traveling from Lakha Road to attend a court hearing in Kandiaro when they were ambushed. The attack resulted in the deaths of two members of the Dahri community and an innocent bystander, spreading fear and panic in the area.
Upon receiving information, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Naushahro Feroze, Mir Rohal Khoso, dispatched a large police contingent to the area and initiated a search operation. Kandiaro police confirmed that the injured and the deceased were immediately transferred to the hospital for medical attention.
The deceased include 54-year-old Rasool Bux, son of Allah Wariyo Dahri, and 24-year-old Muhammad Arshad, son of Soof Dahri, along with bystander Shahid Rajpar. In the attack, Muhammad Saeed, son of Rasool Bux Dahri, was severely injured.
As per procedure, the police, after completing necessary legal formalities, handed over the bodies to their heirs. Meanwhile, sources revealed that two individuals have been taken into custody for investigation to understand the circumstances of this violent conflict.
