First National Youth Games to be held in Islamabad from September 7 to 13

Islamabad is set to host the first National Youth Games from September 7 to 13. This is a significant opportunity for young athletes from across the country. Boys and girls aged 14 to 17 will participate in various competitions.

The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) has instructed provincial sports organizations to begin preparations and emphasized the selection of players based on merit. The federal government has announced its full support for this initiative.

During a planning meeting to outline organizational matters, the head of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, termed the National Youth Games more than just sports competitions, calling it a vision for the future.

The meeting was attended by POA President Arif Saeed, Secretary Khalid Mahmood, and other officials, where the POA outlined its plan for the tournament.
