DUKI:,,, Five coal miners died after the roof of a mud room collapsed in Miraj Coal mine area of district Duki in Balochistan province on Thursday.
According to levies force information, the roof caved in due to rain in Miraj Coal area of Duki, resultantly, five coal miners sleeping in the room came under the debris of collapsed roof and died. The victims were identified as Inayatullah, Ibrahim, Wali, Sudtuddin and Zahoor Ahmed.
After the incident, local people and labourers retrieved the bodies from the debris on self-help basis and shifted them to Civil Hospital Duki where after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities, they were handed over to the heirs.
Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of concerned levies station.
