DUKI:,,, Five persons, including women and children, were killed and eight others injured after vehicle of a marriage party turned turtle near Yaru Sheyer cross at Ziarat Road in Nana sahib area of district Duki on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, the vehicle overturned on Ziarat Road in Nana Sahib area of district Duki, resultantly, five persons were killed whil eight others sustained injured. The bodies and injured were shifted to a Duki hospital where after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the heirs while seriously injured were referred to Dera Ghazi Khan for further treatment after providing initial treatment at Duki Hospital.
The deceased and injured are reported to be from District Barkhan. Further investigation was being conducted by the concerned authorities.
