Karachi: FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL) has announced a strategic partnership with A2Z Energy Systems to introduce a 2MW solar photovoltaic plant integrated with a 4MWh Battery Energy Storage System. This development is part of FCEPL's ongoing efforts to advance its decarbonization strategy by embedding sustainable energy solutions throughout its operations.
According to FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited, the hybrid energy system is set to improve energy cost efficiency, enhance power reliability, and mitigate exposure to grid fluctuations. It is designed to optimize energy dispatch, support peak shaving, and strengthen load management, contributing to operational resilience and delivering financial benefits.

A2Z Energy Systems will serve as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contractor, delivering the project on a turnkey basis. The company aims to ensure optimal design, seamless integration, and high-performance execution in line with international standards. Mr. Anwar ul Hasan, Chairman of A2Z Energy Systems, noted the project's significance in merging sustainability with financial performance in industrial energy strategies.
