Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya (TNFJ) has urged the Islamic world to practically follow the lives of holy religious figures to resolve its crises and escape from the “clutches of global imperialism,” and appealed to citizens to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, and other regions.
The announcement was made in connection with the “International Decade of Ajr-e-Risalat,” which will be observed from the 1st to the 10th of Rajab. The organization’s Central Senior Vice President, Bawa Syed Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi, made the announcement on Tuesday from the Maktab-e-Tashayyo Ali Masjid headquarters on the special instructions of TNFJ chief Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi.
According to the statement, the decade will be attributed to the sacred days of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi Al-Hadi (A.S.), Shehzada Ali Asghar (A.S.), and Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.). Mahafils and gatherings will be held to highlight the life and character of these infallible personalities.
Kazmi said that according to the Quran and Hadith, love for the Holy Prophet and his progeny is the reward of Prophethood (Ajr-e-Risalat) and a guarantee of salvation and dignity for the believers.
He also appealed for special prayers with humility and meekness for the success of the Islamic world, the end of sufferings, and the security and stability of Pakistan during the decade.
A central committee of TNFJ has been formed to organize the programs. Professor Samar Bukhari has been nominated as its convener, while Syed Abu Zeeshan Naqvi has been appointed as the committee’s secretary.
