ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said the PTI Chairman Imran Khan cannot dictate the coalition government to hold early elections in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the General Elections will be held as per schedule next year. The Defence Minister said Imran Khan is using pressure tactics but the government will not come under any pressure.
Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has strongly denounced the language used by PTI Chairman Imran Khan against some journalists. In a statement on Wednesday, she was critical of Imran Khan’s politics saying nobody including national interests, institutions and martyrs are safe from his slander campaign.
