BAHAWALPUR: A girl student was found dead Tuesday under mysterious circumstances in the room of a private hostel at One Unit Chowk in Bahawalpur.
On information, Bahawalpur’s Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Station House Officer (SHO) Abid Hameed Rana reached the spot. The body of the girl student was shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for a postmortem examination.
The police have started probe into the incident and said that the real cause of her death will only be determined after the postmortem report. The victim family refused to pursue any legal action, stating that it was a natural death. A mourning atmosphere prevailed in the victim’s family.
