Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi today visited Shirazi House in Thatta, where he was warmly received by the Shirazi brothers.
Upon his arrival, the governor was greeted by former District Nazim Shafqat Hussain Shah Shirazi, Provincial Minister Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, former MPA Syed Ameer Haider Shah Shirazi and others. In a traditional gesture of hospitality, the Shirazi brothers presented governor Kundi with Sindhi cultural gifts, including Ajrak and Sindhi caps.
Speaking on the occasion, Kundi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Shirazi family, stating that he was deeply honoured by their warm welcome and hospitality. ‘Sindh is the land of Sufi saints and elders, known for its message of peace and love. Visiting Sindh always brings a sense of tranquility,’ said the governor. He added that the Shirazi brothers had made his visit memorable.
In response, the Shirazi brothers expressed their appreciation for the governor’s visit and highlighted Sindh’s centuries-old tradition of hospitality, which they proudly uphold. Provincial Minister Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi remarked, “Sindh’s culture is ancient and unique, and we take great pride in our heritage.”
The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and a reaffirmation of the strong cultural ties between the regions.
