Grand combing search operations launched on a large scale in various areas of Islamabad

Under a strategy to strengthen security in Islamabad, comprehensive security operations have been launched today in various districts under the directives of Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. This rigorous scrutiny demonstrates the commitment to maintaining public order.

These operations, overseen by the Zonal Superintendents of Police, are ongoing in areas such as Police Station Sumbal, Kirpa, Aabpara, Shehzad Town, Sabzi Mandi, and Police Station Khanna. Notably, female officers are also included, reinforcing the inclusive nature of this initiative.

During these inspections, authorities examined a total of 507 individuals, 254 residences, 20 inns, 70 shops, 239 motorcycles, and 124 vehicles. Consequently, 19 individuals found suspicious and 26 motorcycles have been taken into custody at local police stations for further investigation.

To enhance vigilance, special checkpoints have been established at key entry and exit points of the city. These are aligned with the constant presence of patrol units and designated squads, ensuring comprehensive surveillance in the capital.
