High-Level Meeting Focuses On Bolstering Health Sector Cooperation With Indonesia

Pakistan’s top officials convened an inter-ministerial meeting in the capital today to advance health sector cooperation with Indonesia, a key follow-up to last month”s visit by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

The session was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who expressed the government”s commitment to the bilateral relationship, according to a statement today.

During the proceedings, Senator Dar stressed the importance of further deepening and broadening ties with the Southeast Asian nation.

The assembly specifically evaluated the current progress of joint initiatives in the health domain and explored new avenues for enhancing this collaboration between the two countries.

In attendance were the Minister for Health, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, alongside senior functionaries from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, National Health Services, and other relevant government bodies.
