A CIA police team recovered a car, stolen from Karachi, at the city’s bypass area in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to SSP Hyderabad office, on a tip-off, the CIA police set up a blockade on the road for checking the vehicles during which the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled after seeing the police.
The CIA police team, headed by Inspector Karim Abbasi, recovered the stolen Toyota Corolla car, model 2017, bearing registration number BKU-457 near the bypass area of Hyderabad.
The car had been snatched at gunpoint from owner Absar Ahmed Shaikh in Karachi’s Federal B Area. The swift action by the CIA Hyderabad led to the timely recovery of the vehicle.
