Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi orchestrated an impressive reception at Lahore Fort to honor the six international teams competing in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier.

Women cricketers from Pakistan, Bangladesh, West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, and Thailand were welcomed with traditional hospitality, featuring ceremonial guards and Mughal-Era attired attendants.

Naqvi personally greeted the players and officials at the iconic Alamgiri Gate, capturing the moment with a group photo. He extended a warm welcome, expressing that Lahore embraces all teams with open arms, highlighting Pakistan’s reputation as a peaceful and cricket-loving nation. Naqvi anticipated a memorable and pleasant stay for all visitors.

Participants were treated to a cultural tour of Lahore’s historic sites, including the Badshahi Mosque and Sheesh Mahal. Foreign players and officials expressed their appreciation to the PCB, describing the evening as “unforgettable.”
