ICCI demands to make Islamabad a Protest Free City

Islamabad: Opposing the expected long march of Imran Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Monday demanded the government to make the capital a protest-free city.

The traders delegation held a meeting with Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and urged him to bring a bill in the Parliament to declare Islamabad a protest-free city.

The business community of the capital city said that the long marches and sit-ins in Islamabad threaten to destroy the economy and business of Islamabad.

The delegation also said that the life of the citizens of Islamabad will be paralyzed by the long march of the PTI while the diplomatic community also suffers for the same reason.
