In a theft incident on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, thieves broke through the roof of a medical store in Kandiaro and made off with Rs. 2,850,000 in cash, a major criminal event in the area. Meanwhile, in separate operations, police have arrested a drug dealer and two armed robbers.
This major incident occurred at Aziz Medical Store, located opposite the famous Mehran Bakery. According to initial reports, the culprits entered the shop, situated within the jurisdiction of the Kandiaro police station, by breaking through its roof.
In a separate street crime incident, armed assailants targeted Saeed Solangi on Shahmir Dero Link Road. The culprits stopped him at gunpoint, forcibly snatched his motorcycle, an unspecified amount of cash, and a mobile phone, and fled.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have reported several successful operations. SHO Moro Ali Akbar Khokhar confirmed the arrest of alleged drug dealer Zahid Hussain Chandio, from whose possession narcotics were recovered. A case, No. 353/2025, has been registered against him.
In other operations, personnel from the Muhabbat Dero police station took a suspected robber, Habibullah Khushk, into custody and recovered an illegal pistol and three bullets. Similarly, the Lakha Road police arrested another alleged robber, Muhammad Yousuf Khaskheli, and recovered an unlicensed weapon along with two bullets.
Authorities have stated that further investigations into all these matters are underway.
