Okara police conducted a massive operation against traffic law violators, resulting in the detention of 3 individuals for driving without a license during a 24-hour period on Monday.
In this extensive crackdown, a total of 165 cases were registered for various violations. In addition to the arrests for license violations, the authorities registered three cases for one-way traffic violation, three for overloading, and two for driving without a fitness certificate.
The city’s traffic police also took extensive action, issuing 1,066 challans. The total amount of these fines comes to Rs 12,46,000.
