The couple, both Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), who were injured in an exchange of fire with dacoits in the Shikarpur area, are under treatment at Sukkur Ziauddin Hospital.
Sukkur Division Commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi today visited DSP Paras Bakhrani and her husband, DSP Garhi Yasin Zahoor Hussain Soomro, at the hospital and inquired about their well-being after the violent incident.
During the hospital visit, the Commissioner assured the injured law enforcement officials of full support and all possible cooperation from the administration.
Mr. Qureshi directed the administration of the private medical center to ensure the provision of the best available treatment and top-notch medical facilities to the injured officers.
The hospital in-charge informed the Commissioner that the DSPs are undergoing treatment under the supervision of expert doctors and dedicated paramedic staff.
