DUKI: Interference of provincial ruling party in the local bodies election to be held on May 29 in district Duki of Balochistan province is sheer violation of code of conduct prescribed by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

These views were expressed by speakers while addressing the participants of a protest sit-in staged outside the office of Deputy Commissioner, Duki on Saturday under the aegis of “All Parties Duki” against the interference of provincial ruling party in the local bodies election in district Duki.

Demanding authorities to accede to the genuine demands of “All Parties Duki”, speakers said that their protest sit-in outside the office of Deputy Commissioner, Duki would continue until the acceptance of all demands.

Protest sit-in outside the office of Deputy Commissioner, Duki, attended by large number of workers and cadres of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl), Awami National Party (ANP), Pushtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP), Quami Watan Party (QWP) and Ulasi Quomi Tehreek (UQT), continued till writing this report.
