The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Investigation today issued a stark warning that any personnel involved in bribery or corruption will face severe consequences, underscoring a zero-tolerance policy on the matter.
The declaration was made by SSP Investigation Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt during an open court held at his office, an initiative stemming from special directives issued by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Ali Rizvi.
During the public forum, the SSP directly addressed the complaints of residents and marked their applications to the concerned officers for timely and merit-based resolution. He also instructed that progress reports be submitted to his office within a specified timeframe.
He emphasized that the Islamabad Police would leave no stone unturned in its duty to secure the lives and property of the populace, assuring that such interactive sessions would continue in the future to provide maximum relief to the public.
SSP Butt also noted that these engagements help promote friendly policing, ensure self-accountability, and lead to the immediate resolution of problems, reaffirming that the protection of life, property, and the self-respect of citizens is the force”s top priority.
